Mother's day Tea and Tour

This annual Tea and Tour is to honor our Mothers, many who may join us in spirit. So, bring the memory of your Mom or bring your children and your Mom to this lovely event. We look forward to sharing this rare house with you. Completed 140 years ago-Feb. 1884 . The complete collections  from two goldrush families, will delight and amaze you. Family preserved the front rooms of the house, so you see the "modern" the aesthetic style  of the times as it was decorated and furnished back then. The beautiful 1907 Craftsman style  in the back family rooms is very cozy.

Tea savories and sweets will be served at the original table. The tour will show you the private and back rooms that have changed over time due to earthquakes and growth of the family. This event is sure to delight and be a lasting memory. Feel free to wear period clothes.  We will be touring two floors of the house. Carpooling reccommended, there is limited parking in the back. There are two seatings  for up to 12 people each seating. The first one starts at - 11:30 a.m.  and the other at 1:30 p.m. If you have a large group and are unable to get tickets for everyone, please schedule a private  tea and tour instead.
