Kitchen Repairs and
Butler’s Pantry Flooring
In the past, the kitchen was not on the tours because it was being used by family. The kitchen is now ready to see. Two doorways and windows were altered in 1896 to accommodate a larger family. In 1992, a new sink cabinet and dishwasher were added to modernize. We are pleased to have made period-appropriate changes by repairing the plaster, and duplicating the original pattern of the flooring in the butler's pantry and back hallway. Donations have been crucial to making this restoration possible.
