About the event
There are two seatings, at 11:30 and 2:00 p.m. The Cohen Bray House is an Oakland Landmark and was completed in 1884. Alfred Henry Cohen married Emma Bray and they moved into the house created by both of their families as a wedding present. When you enter the front door you will be seeing the furniture, wall coverings, pictures and objects- wedding presents that Emma and Alfred put into their new home years ago.
The tea and tour lasts for two hours you will be greeted in the entry with a quick background of the house and family. The Tea with sweets and savories will be served to you as you sit in the formal dining room. Music and good company will entertain you.
