Now is your chance to see and learn about this very rare stick style Victorian home, complete with the collections of one family over 142 years. A 1/2 acre remnant of the original 200 acres of the Oak Tree Farm homestead, created in 1862.

 From the comfort of your home, join Patty, a descendant as she shares historic photos of the early neighborhood (1862-1925) and historic maps of Alameda and the  Oakland Fruitvale district. Learn about the original family, the ferry's, railroads and shipping that paid for the house to be built and furnished, the changes in wealth and property, earthquakes and embezzlement. See the original  architectural plans and photos from the past reflecting the rebuilt sections in 1896 and after the earthquake in 1907.
