About the event
This annual Tea and Tour is to honor our Mothers, many who may join us in spirit. Bring your Mom and bring your children to this lovely event. Tea, savories and sweets will be served in the formal dining room. After, we will be exploring two floors of the house. Completed as a wedding present 141 years ago-Feb. 1884. The collections will delight and amaze you. The front rooms of the house are still decorated and furnished in the aesthetic style of the times. The tour will reveal the private and back rooms that have changed over time due to earthquakes and growth of the family. The tour guide is the great granddaughter of the original family and she will share her family stories. You will leave feeling satisfied and happily nostalgic.
This event is sure to delight and be a lasting memory. Feel free to dress up, wear period clothes…
